Habitat comments: "margas grises a veces lignitosas con nódulos calizos, restos vegetale y carbonosos, limos calcáreos con asterópodos [sic], intercalcaciones detríticas rojas y unos bancos discontinuous de calizas más resistentes. Este tramo es fosilifero... una capa de margas grises laminadas con nódulos... ha suministrado de la fauna"

Sampling comments: the rodents Occitanomys adroveri, Parapodemus barbarae, and Ruscinomys schaubi are described but full counts are only given by Adrover (1983)
there is one specimen of Eliomys truci, but it is the only fully documented rodent
the cyprinid Leuciscus pachechoi, amphibians (presumably frogs), anguids, lacertids, birds, insectivores, and Prolagus crusafonti are also present but not enumerated
