Geography comments: "within the Lahaul division" and specifically in the "Jahlmanal watershed in the Lahaul valley... The watershed starts at the confluence of Jahlmanal and Chandra-Bhaga at an elevation of 2723 m asl in the south and end at 3600 m asl in the north"
coordinate based on Kardang

Environment

Altered habitat: disturbed forest

Substrate: ground surface

WMT: 17.0

CMT: -7.0

MAP: 752.0

Habitat comments: "managed" forests "found around settlements" that are not plantations
climate data are for "The nearest meteorological station for the Jahlmanal watershed... at Tandi, 12 km far from Jahlma... at an altitude of 2846 m asl"
CMT and WMT estimated from Fig. 2

Methods
Life forms: trees

Sites: 10

Site area: 0.1

Sampling methods: quadrat

Sample size: 612 individuals

Size min: 5

Basal area: 16.952

Sampling comments: "Three transects were laid down starting from a base of the slope to the end of the vegetation zone in each selected site. The transects were 200 m apart from each other. The quadrats (10x10 m2) were laid down for tree and shrubs in a line running method (Kershaw 1973) along slopes with an interval of 10 m" (apparently meaning that there was one transect in this habitat consisting of 10 quadrats)
