The width of typical grey dune was about 50 m. Inlands the grey dune is bordered by dry grassland near Scotch pine plantings"

Sampling comments: "One transect was selected for studies during the whole non-freeze period of the year – from April to November. 40 pitfall traps were arranged on 80 m long transect. Transect started on white dune then crossed typical grey dune and ended at dry coastal meadow. The distance between traps was 2 m. The traps were emptied and refilled every two weeks from 02.04.2006 to 12.11.2006" (i.e., over a 224 day span, meaning 17 collection events)
