Lithology: claystone

Taphonomic context: lake deposit,rock shelter

Habitat comments: Zone 3 is "immediately below the Clovis pavement floor" in the shelter, which was "built", and "consisted of brown clay, interpreted as representing a lacustrine deposit"
all artefacts are apparently from above this zone
