Taphonomic context: fluvial deposit

Habitat comments: "reddish-brown-yellowish terrestrial deposits" that are presumably fluvial and shown as "sandstones" in fig. 4
there is no "form of early human modification" at all

Sampling comments: "fossils were found and collected by the villager Giannis Gakis" in 2000 but there were later "five substantial excavating sessions" spanning 2001 - 2004 at either KAL or KLT or both that were carried out under the direction of Tsoukala
most material was collected in "the stream mainly after raining"
