Geography comments: "along the steep bank of a dry creek known locally as Sand Draw, sec. 25, T. 31 N., R. 22 W., six miles north of Ainsworth"
the exposures extend "approximately 800 yards along the draw"
the fossils are "probably" from the Fullerton Formation
said to be early Pleistocene, correlated with Broadwater, and Blancan, but late Blancan and therefore late Pliocene in modern terminology

Taphonomic context: fluvial deposit

Habitat comments: "few mammals" are from a "Sandy marl" but "bulk of mammals" are from an immediately underlying "Sand and clay, stream-bedded"
