Environment
Lithology: sandstone
Taphonomic context: fluvial deposit
Habitat comments: "The sandstone levels of the upper part of the sequence, from which the vertebrate fossils were collected (Fig. 2), exhibit a clear fining upward, conglomeratic elements being found at their base" and were "deposited as cross-beds" that "represent a typical point bar sequence of fluvial sedimentation" within "a migrating fluvial channel"
Methods
Life forms: ungulates
Sample size: 14 specimens
Years: 2001, 2002
Museum: National Museum of Myanmar
Sampling comments: "collected in 2001 and 2002 by the 'French-Myanmar Team' formed by the Paleontology Departement of the University Montpellier 2 (France) and the Geology Department of the Yangon University (Myanmar). All the fossils described in this paper are housed at the Paleontological Collection of the National Museum of Myanmar (Yangon)"
